Yes, it is. Hotel Podklasztorze is a part of the 12 th century Cistercian Abbey established in 1176 by Kazimierz Sprawiedliwy (Casimir the Just). Hotel Podklasztorze is the first hotel in Poland which was granted historic monument status and located in the 12 th century Cistercian Abbey. Learn more about history of this unique place.

Yes, there are. The Cistercians returned to the Abbey in 1986 and have lived at the Presbytery which is situated opposite to St Thomas of Canterbury’s Church.

Parking lot of Hotel Podklasztorze is monitored and closed at night. Using the parking lot is free of charge for hotel Guests.

Once you leave the roundabout into Rycerska street, turn left right after a bus stop. The parking lot for our Guests is fenced and marked. We encourage Guests to drive at the main gate from the backyard side in order to leave the luggage and then move a car to the Hotel parking lot.

Wellness zone and the swimming pool are open Monday – Friday from 9:00 to 21:00 (for Guests from outside to 12:00). On Saturdays, Sundays and holidays the pool is open from 9:00 to 21:00.

Yes, Guests from outside can use the pool and SPA. One can find a price list in our website. It is recommended to contact SPA reception or Hotel reception before arrival and check availability.

Miód i Wino Restaurant is open Sunday – Thursday from 12:00 to 22:00 (meal orders are concluded to 21:30) whereas on Fridays and Saturdays from 12:00 to 23:00 (meal orders are concluded to 22:00).

Reception of Hotel Podklasztorze remains at your disposal 7 days a week, round the clock.

Check-in begins at 3:00 p.m. and ends at 11:00 a.m.

It is possible to stay in the Spa&Wellness area before and after checking out of the room until 6:00 p.m. Guests have at their disposal a free luggage room at the Hotel Reception, a cloakroom and changing room in the Spa Monastery.

Each Guest of the Podklasztorze Hotel has the possibility of extending their stay in the room free of charge until 1:00 p.m. (if a room is not booked, please contact the Reception to confirm availability). Guests who have appointments for spa treatments, after the end of the hotel day, may stay in the room longer (after confirming availability at the Reception).

Each guest of Podklasztorze Hotel has the possibility of extending their stay in the room free of charge until 1 p.m. (if the room is not booked, please contact the Reception to confirm availability). Guests who have an appointment for a spa treatment, after the end of the hotel day, may stay in the room free of charge longer until 15:00 (after confirming availability at the Reception).

The cost of the extension until 3:00 p.m. is PLN 120, and above 3:00 p.m. it is half the value of a hotel day in a room of the selected standard. Extension of the stay, as well as earlier arrival, depends on the availability of the room at the chosen time and on prior notification at the Reception.

It is possible to stay in the Spa&Wellness area before and after checking out of the room until 6:00 p.m. Free luggage room at the Hotel Reception, cloakroom and changing room in the Spa Monasterium are available.

During the stay our Guests can use a swimming pool equipped with couches for pearl massage, jacuzzi, a paddling pool for children with a mini slide, Monastery Sauna: honey and herbs dry sauna and Turkish bath with Rassoul function, Kneipp path, showers of sensations, bookcases located all over the Hotel and a tower with observatory. Additionally, our Guests can enjoy an outside playing ground, a court for volleyball, football and badminton, Figlarium play room as well as games, table tennis and gym.It is also possible, in return for payment, to rent sport equipment, bicycles, tandem bicycle, go-carts, scooters, kayaks. Standard rooms (dormitories): small, cosy rooms with interiors referring to history of the facility. Intended for two people. It is possible to place a cot in selected rooms. Area 13-16 m2. Chambers: slightly bigger rooms, stylized and referring to history of the Abbey. Area about 20 m2. Superior rooms (cells): individually stylized, their names referring to history of the place. Bigger rooms, intended for two, three people or a family 2+2. Area about 25 m2. Suites: of Kazimierz Sprawiedliwy and of Wladyslaw Jagiello. Rooms intended for families. Bathrooms additionally equipped with a bath tub. Area about 40 m2. Attention: Owing to their historic character (no permission of the conservator) the rooms are not air-conditioned. The rooms do not have balconies either. Beds in single rooms are 90x200cm. Beds in double rooms and cells can be linked with a solid joint to make 180cm wide double bed.

Yes, Hotel Podklasztorze is equipped with a modern gym. Enthusiasts of both running and strength exercises are going to love the place. The gym includes many facilities, such as treadmill, strength machine, rowing machine, elliptical trainer and exercise bicycle. The gym is open only to Hotel Guests, included in the price of the night.

Yes, one can rent bicycles of course. It is not necessary to make reservation in advance. We owe a bicycle trailer, helmets for children, tandem bicycle.

Hotel Podklasztorze is 2.5 km away from Sulejow Lagoon. We suggest a half-an-hour trip on foot or renting bicycles.

Floor service personnel takes care of Guests’ comfort so the rooms are serviced every day. In the case of Covid epidemic the rooms are cleaned on Guests’ request.

With a view to our Guests and their culinary preferences we prepared a selection of products that make our kitchen famous. Specialties of our monastery smokehouse as well as dishes are based on original Cistercian recipes. Such products as ham, pork loin, bacon or pate, Cistercian bread and many others can be bought in our Cistercian shop. In Mead in Wine Restaurant you will find our mini brewery where we brew high quality beer using premium malt, hop and yeast.

Hotel Podklasztorze remains a pet friendly place. The cost of pet’s stay is PLN80/night.

Minimal depth of the swimming pool is 90 cm and maximal is 120 cm. Temperature in the pool is about 29 degree. Depth of the paddling pool for children is 30 cm.

Smoking tobacco products is absolutely prohibited in the entire hotel. Breach of the ban on smoking of tobacco products in the places not intended for the purpose is subject to financial fine in accordance with hotel regulations.

Let us start with the Cistercian Abbey which is one of the best preserved Cistercian complexes in our country. It is included in a list of historic monuments. St. Thomas of Canterbury’s Church is the oldest building and a museum is situated in the eastern wing. One can visit occasional exhibitions as well as expositions typically connected with history of the order. Our collection includes some precious exhibits, e.g. a painting of Kazimierz Sprawiedliwy, a unique triptych from the first half of the 16 th century and many vestments. In free time one can take a walk round the whole Cistercian abbey and see such sites as ruins of the ramparts. It is worth to go 30 km to Tomaszow Mazowiecki and visit an outdoor museum of Pilica river, Nadgorzyce Caves, famous Blue Springs reserve as well as bunkers in Jelen and Konewka.

Cancellation of reservation depends on the type of the selected offer. In the case of non-refundable reservation the advance payment shall be lost, whereas at a flexible offer reservationcan be cancelled cost-free up to 3 days before the arrival. In such a case the advance payment shall be returned within 14 days from the notification of reservation cancellation. If reservation is cancelled after the deadline or a guest does not show up on the date of arrival, the hotel shall charge the guest for 30% of the reservation value. In order to guarantee the reservation one is required to provide credit card details or make 30% advance payment of the reservation value by means of online payment system.
