Valentine’s Day at Hotel Podklasztorze is an offer for couples who seek more than a candlelight dinner. It is a romantic stay for two in the 12th-century Cistercian Abbey in Sulejów — a place of silence, history, and mindfulness towards another person.

What distinguishes our Valentine’s package?

It is a combination of a romantic hotel, SPA area, exquisite cuisine, and the unique atmosphere of a historic place.

In the package we have prepared for you:

Accommodation in dormitories, superior rooms, and suites – historic interiors in a comfortable, elegant setting
Breakfasts with regional culinary specialties: homemade bread, honey from a nearby apiary, smoked meats from the hotel smokehouse
Dinner on the day of arrival
Romantic candlelight dinner on the second day of stay – in the Miód i Wino restaurant, with a special Chef’s Menu (also available in a vegan version)
Coffee and tea brewing set and mineral waters in the room
Rituals and relaxation in the monastery Monasterium Spa*
- Floating session for two – deep relaxation in endless silence, floating on salt-enriched water, experiencing absolute body and mind relief
- Rose Garden Ritual for couples, based on the heritage of monastic rose gardens:

Meals

It is possible to prepare meals considering the diet. Please notify us when booking. If you require gluten-free or lactose-free products, please inform us during the reservation process, and no later than at check-in at the Hotel.

Breakfasts are served from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM in the Chapter Hall above the restaurant.
Dinners are served from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the Chapter Hall above the restaurant.
Romantic dinner in the Honey and Wine Restaurant - please arrange the dinner time in advance at the Reception.

The package starts with dinner on the day of arrival and ends with breakfast on the day of departure. Meals are served buffet-style or plated (depending on hotel occupancy).

Honey and Wine Restaurant

Sunday – Thursday 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM, meal orders until 9:30 PM

Friday – Saturday 12:00 PM – 11:00 PM, meal orders until 10:00 PM

Between 10:30 AM and 12:00 PM, the restaurant serves drinks and desserts from the display case.

Wellness & SPA

Monasterium SPA&Wellness

Wellness Zone available for children up to 12 years old until 8:00 PM.

Monastic baths: steam sauna, dry sauna

From Monday to Friday from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM,

on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

SPA Zone is open from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

We recommend original Cistercian rituals, based on natural plant ingredients cultivated by monks. To this day, lavender fields, white lilies, and tobacco are elements of the Sulejów landscape and served as inspiration for creating the unique recipes of the first Monastic SPA in Poland.

The SPA offer also includes Spa treatments for Children.

Important information

Practical Information

The hotel day starts at 3:00 PM on the day of arrival and ends at 11:00 AM on the day of departure. It is possible to extend the hotel day subject to availability for an additional charge.

Every guest of Hotel Podklasztorze has the possibility to extend their stay in the room free of charge until 1:00 PM (if the room is not booked, please contact Reception to confirm availability). Guests who have SPA treatments scheduled can stay in the room longer after the hotel day ends (upon confirmation of availability at Reception).

It is possible to stay in the Spa & Wellness area before and after checking out until 6:00 PM; guests have free access to baggage storage at the hotel Reception, cloakroom, and changing room at Monasterium Spa.

The hotel parking is located behind the hotel about 200 m away. It is possible to drive directly to the reception to unload luggage.

Non-use of any service during the stay, as well as shortening it, does not result in a refund.

By making a reservation and paying a deposit, the guest declares that they have read and accept all the information contained in the package description.

The services included in the package form an integral whole and cannot be individually priced or exchanged.

Financial Documents

If you wish to receive a VAT invoice for the order/reservation, please inform us during the reservation process. Please provide the data to which the invoice should be issued along with the VAT identification number (NIP). Only if we include the NIP on the receipt will you be able to receive a VAT invoice. Failure to provide the NIP during the reservation process will prevent issuing a VAT invoice at a later date

Parking

We encourage guests to drive a car to the main entrance from the courtyard, to unpack their luggage, and then park the car in the hotel parking lot. The hotel parking lot is located 200 meters from the hotel, behind the bus stop (after the roundabout, the second street on the left). See on map

Children

Hotel Podklasztorze is a family and children friendly hotel. Children up to 3 years of age stay free of charge if they sleep on their parents' bed. The fees for children aged 4-11 depend on the selected stay offer. Children from the age of 12 are counted as full-pay. A child who is 3 years old is considered 4 years old, a child who is 11 years old is considered 12 years old. See what amenities we have prepared for the youngest guests.

Cancellation

This reservation can be cancelled without costs until until 3 days before arrival. In such case the amount paid will be refunded within 7 days after cancellation was submitted. If cancellation is submitted after this time or guest will not show at all, the property will charge 30% of the reservation value. It is required to provide credit card information or make the payment of 30% of the reservation value to guarantee the reservation.
