Already in the Middle Ages, the Cistercians became the precursors of a unique art: the distillation of vodkas and herbal extracts. Hardworking monks have put this mysterious alchemical process at the service of health… and well-being. The workshops include: a presentation of alchemical equipment, a story about the history of spirits, two independent distillations with the help of a medieval alchemist as well as tasting of high-class spirits. At the end, participants will take their own distillates home in commemorative bottles.

Welcome to Browar Podklasztorze, where the past has come full circle, and the Cistercian brewery is undergoing a rebirth. After 105 years, in the old walls of the Cistercian Order, the smell of brewed beer rises again, and the taste of the golden beverage is once again present on our tables.

The workshops will be led by award-winning brewer Krzysztof Juszczak. You will also have the opportunity to try its products from the Podklasztorze Brewery.

Mead drinking of 3 types of mead (półtorak, dwójniak, Trójniak) in the 12th-century Cistercian Abbey takes place in accordance with the old Polish tradition and evokes fantastic experiences. The wafting smell of honey takes the participants back to the old days, during which they will be able to enjoy meads served in traditional clay pots. The magical time of the place, along with the taste of the drinks, will appeal to all your senses.

Participants of the workshop will enrich their knowledge of wines, spend a pleasant time tasting exceptional white and red wines from around the world. An ideal idea for an integration meeting for a team with elements of fun, a dose of education and tasting. The workshops are conducted by our sommelier - a member of the Polish Sommeliers Association Przemysław Tumiłowicz.

It is an amazing tasting of liquors and snacks recommended against the plague, as well as the opportunity to create your own fragrance mixtures to incense interiors. It is also a story about old plagues and attitudes towards the disease, a presentation of selected methods of treatment and prevention (according to the recommendations of old Polish doctors), all in a historical arrangement of the event space.

We present you an off-road game in the footsteps of history, the legend of the White Lady. The 16th-century music tower is also an extremely charming place with an aura of mystery. It is in this part of the Hotel Podklasztorze that a mysterious figure called the White Lady is seen, which many guests have met while walking along the hotel corridor
